Old Man Curt Smith is quoted, uironically, in the Buffalo News about Slaughter’s age. Pot, meet kettle.
The D&C criticizes Brooks, again, for not talking about the issues. I think I see a pattern developing here. I wonder if the Brooks campaign does.
Having taken a class with Mr. Smith, I will never understand why anyone would take his opinions seriously.
I think he picks up the phone when reporters call and allows them to fill space in the newspaper.
Here’s my question: where’s the Democrats’ Curt Smith? Can’t reporters find some blowhard who can blabber on about ROBUTRAD or something like that to balance Curt’s line of b.s.?
There are a few other professors at Rochester who could fill that role; I think they prefer to do research however.
